Janice Visinsky, CRP

Janice Visinsky, President of Adaptations, Inc., brings more than 25 years of experience in international client relations; marketing; business development; real estate; relocation management; assignment management; human resources; and contract management to her present position.

Janice founded Adaptations, Inc., following positions in business development for two major third party relocation management companies.  During her tenure with these firms, her various responsibilities included global business development; program development; and marketing, as well as being instrumental in expanding one of the firm's capabilities to include both expatriate and immigration management services.

In addition to her experience in third party relocation management, Janice has worked in real estate sales/relocation; the management of relocation destination support services in a foreign country; and has over 16 years of experience in the engineering and construction industry.

As Manager of Client Relations and Contract Management Administration for The M. W. Kellogg Company, Janice was responsible for domestic and international client relations; client relocation/orientation; contract management administration; staffing; assignment administration; and training.  She managed a staff of approximately 80 project professionals.  Her many years in this role provided for a wealth of international experience.

In addition to Janice's extensive business travel, she has lived on short term assignment in Kobe, Japan; Guangzhou, China; Caracas, Venezuela; London, England and Kuwait City, Kuwait, as well as on a longer term basis in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia.

During Janice's time in Saudi Arabia, she was a founding member of AWEP (American Women of the Eastern Province), a non-profit organization, which was operated out of the U.S. Consulate facility.  The organization's goal was to support both individuals and corporations with resource needs in the region.  Janice's direct role was as Chair of the Research and Development section, known as ACCESS, with responsibility for the development of an onsite research center and database, as well as serving as a liaison with the local community.

Janice studied business related courses, both in Houston and through Penn State University.  She holds her designation as a Certified Relocation Professional from the U.S. Employee Relocation Council and is a licensed Texas Realtor.

Janice is a frequent speaker on relocation issues, having spoken in recent years both in the U.S. and internationally.  She has authored a number of relocation related articles, is retired from the Board of Directors for the Houston Relocation Professionals after 8 years of service and currently serves on the board of the Friends of CEAU  Foundation (Centre d'Etude d'Architecture et d'Urbanisme - Saintes, France) and Charter 100 Houston, is a member and volunteer for HR Houston, and remains active in a number of other professional organizations.
